I've also been able to get a copy of The Man Who Loved Boxes by Stephen Michael King (21st Anniversary Edition apparently) just recently. I'm still looking for a copy of The Little Blue Parcel. Probably my favourite read aloud books are It's a Perfect Day by Abigail Pizer and Whistle Up the Chimney by Nan Hunt. No Ducks in our Bathtub by Martha Alexander will always have a place on my bookshelf, as will many others. I have tried so hard to weed my picture book collection, but it just has to stay!Flis_Donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01035186938410527960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7080763276453498935.post-19749610692370251402017-09-23T22:49:56.291-07:002017-09-23T22:49:56.291-07:00Two very old favourites on my bookshelf, that stil...Two very old favourites on my bookshelf, that still mesmerise any audience are Prowlpuss by Gina Wilson (1995) and The Pumpernickel Tickle and the Mean Green Cheese by Nancy Patz. The latter; my pick to share in Launcestion LINC as part of the Reading Hour. More recent and a wonderful read to the very young are Vivane Schawrz's books starting with the truly memorable interactive There Are Cats in This Book (2008). Mmmm... my shelf seems to have a just a few cat books :-)Jennie Baleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18412467177372321133noreply@blogger.com
